Can we say O.M.G!!!!

Paris Paris...the land of love and FASHION...Over the last couple of months there has been a lot of fashion exhibits of designers work (past and present) through out Paris and one in particular that I JUST fell in love with, was Madam Grès.  She was a genius in my opinion!!!

This past Friday at the Musée Bourdelle I was awed by the beautiful pieces and intricate detailed silk jersey dresses…splashed with vibrate colors and texture. Just stunning… who know jersey could look so elegant and luxurious?

Exhibition March 25.2011- July 24.2011

I'm currently on break and one of my friends from the states will be arriving early Monday morning so as we explore Paris together I will make sure to post pics and must go places to explore (if ever in Paris)....Thanks for all the support until next time!!!

I will leave you with this for 2011:

Don't let the fear of making the wrong decision prevent you from making any decision at all. --RMarston
"Keep being the best that you can be and don't let minor obstacles determine your future.  Pushing your self outside of your comfort zone you may discover new beginnings.  Success doesn’t happen over night…it’s a process that will forever change as you get wiser.  Don’t be scared of failure because failure is what makes you stronger and is a part of learning. Don't be blind of opportunities that may not seem big at the moment because that may just open a door to the FUTURE…so as you reflect on this year…salute to 2010 and cheers to 2011… lets continue to focus on our goal’s and passion’s".   -- words of wisdom from a collaboration of wise people in my life, Thanks!!!

Hope that everyone has a blessed and safe New Years. I'll chat with you all next year!!!

Bonne Année !!!!

One week after New Years I cramped some time into my hectic life to celebrate my B-Day!!!

 :: Christmas in Paris ::

Waited for SC and was surprised by some posers....so not cool
So I spent my first Christmas in Paris...it felt like another day...chatted with some of my friends (from the states) via skype and made a mini feast for one...I really haven't been in the Christmas spirit...well it was kind of hard here...no Santa in sight or over decorated streets, buildings or houses. I attempted to search for Mr. Claus but no success but I did find some imposters in the process.  The good part of my mini vacation is my boyfriend made it to Paris regardless of the east coast blizzard...he was a couple days late but I was happy he made it for New Years.

Finally made it to the Eiffel Tower!!!

This was a great chance to really explore the city.  First trip to the Eiffel Tower...walked along the river...really had a chance to be a true tourist for the day.  We spent New Years at the Champs Elysées with half of Paris and enjoyed the festivities like a true Parisian. 2010 ended fabulous!!!

Bonjour!!! Everyone...yesss I know, I didn’t fall of the face of the earth (but I won’t bore you with why I have been missing either...I’m sure you all can understand...I hope)
Well classes finally started November 17th, 2010. (yeahhhh)
It started and well I've been busy ever since.  I have 4 classes for the whole term.
(Which is definitely keeping me busy)

       | NOVEMBER |
Great things are not done by impulse,
but by a series of small things brought together.
                                                                                               — Vincent van Gogh
So far I am learning a lot here (as well as brushing up on some techniques) and I am super excited to start thinking about collection in March (yeah that quick).

Anyways, I may have a chance to do an internship in Paris, but we'll see Paris is "très cher" hahaha..taking it one day at a time. I'll give you an update...when I find out more info on that (when, where, and who).

On Thanksgiving in the states, I had the pleasure of celebrating Ste. Catherine's Day at ECSCP ( they insisted we take a day off and celebrate anyone that was 25 years and single) It also gave us an excuse to dress up in costume and enjoy the festivities.
